Profile:

Data analyst systematically collects, processes, and performs statistical analyses on data sets. Their responsibilities include:

1. Data Cleaning and Preparation: This involves filtering the data, handling missing values, and preparing the dataset for analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance.

2. Data Exploration and Analysis: Analysts use statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyze data, identifying patterns, relationships, and trends.

3. Data Visualization: They create visual representations of data findings through charts, graphs, and dashboards to make the data understandable at a glance.

4. Reporting: Data analysts prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to stakeholders, which can influence policy and decision-making processes.

5. Collaboration: They often work with other departments to understand their data needs and help them make informed decisions based on data insight

6. Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments.

Preferred candidate:

• Adherence to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with customers and data

• Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel) and ER software (JDE or other)

• Proficiency in English

• Results-driven and patient

• High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a comparable discipline is required, with prior experience in data analysis or a related field being advantageous

Experience: 2-6 Yrs.
