Team Leader – Banking Collections
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader to oversee and manage a team of collection agents in our banking collection department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in collections and debt recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
-Lead, motivate, and manage a team of collection agents.
-Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, share updates, and provide guidance.
-Monitor individual and team KPIs, providing support and feedback to achieve goals.
Collections and Recovery:
Oversee daily collection activities and ensure timely recovery of overdue accounts.
Analyze and prioritize delinquent accounts to focus on high-impact recovery.
Implement effective strategies to minimize delinquencies and bad debts.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure all collection activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and outcomes.
Prepare and submit performance reports to management.
Customer Interaction:
Handle escalated customer cases with professionalism and empathy.
Negotiate repayment terms and resolve disputes effectively.
Training and Development:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in banking collections/Fintech collections, with at least 1.5–2 years in a leadership role.
Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office Excel.
Preferred Attributes:
In-depth knowledge of banking products and collection processes.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
