The Assistant Manager, Jewelry Grading at IGI will be responsible for overseeing and performing the accurate and consistent grading of various types of jewelry, including those with set gemstones (primarily diamonds). Responsibilities:

• Jewelry Grading & Analysis:

• Perform comprehensive grading of finished jewelry pieces, evaluating the quality, characteristics, and value of set gemstones (diamonds, colored stones) and precious metals.

• Utilize advanced gemological instruments and equipment for accurate identification, analysis, and grading of gemstones within their settings.

• Assess and determine the quality of craftsmanship, metal purity, and overall design of jewelry items.

• Ensure all grading adheres strictly to IGI's established international standards and methodologies.

• Quality Control & Assurance:

• Conduct internal quality checks on graded jewelry to ensure consistency and accuracy across the team.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in grading results, providing constructive feedback to junior graders.

• Participate in calibration sessions to maintain uniform grading practices.
