Roles and Responsibilities:
Identify potential customers using online research (Google, directories, industry networks) and specify relevant regions and products.
Conduct customer outreach through calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline using Zoho CRM to track prospects and customer data.
Revive existing relationships with customers to generate repeat business and unlock new opportunities.
Execute product presentations and physical product demonstrations at client locations.
· Understand the full range of Sona’s products to position solutions effectively.
· Lead negotiations with prospects, convert leads into sales, and achieve revenue and margin targets.
· Be the single point of contact for customers post‑sales, ensuring smooth onboarding, satisfaction, and retention.
· Display strong leadership qualities to guide, mentor, and support a team of junior sales executives.
· Train and guide juniors on negotiation techniques, prospecting methods, and customer handling.
· Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve current revenue goals and overall growth.
Skills and Qualifications:.
Minimum education qualification must be bachelors degree in business/ marketing.
1–4 years of prior experience in BDE / Sales is preferred.
Proven experience in B2B client acquisition and retention.
Hands‑on experience in building a territory from scratch or making a measurable impact on company revenue and margins.
Prior team‑handling experience is highly desirable.
Comfortable with physical, one‑on‑one meetings with customers.
Proficiency in using Zoho CRM (preferred) and standard office tools.
Open to travel extensively in the assigned area.
A proactive, target‑driven mindset with strong problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
