We are looking for a dynamic Senior Academic Counselor to join our admissions and sales team. The role involves guiding students, parents, job seekers, and working professionals toward the right IT courses based on their career goals. You will handle inbound leads provided by the company, convert them into enrollments, and achieve monthly revenue targets.
Handle inbound leads from marketing channels, walk-ins, and inquiries. (No cold calling)
Conduct student counseling sessions to understand career goals and recommend suitable courses.
Present course features, curriculum, duration, pricing, internships, and placement support clearly.
Follow up with prospects using calls, WhatsApp, and emails to ensure conversion.
Maintain strong pipeline management and ensure smooth student onboarding.
Work closely with the marketing and training teams for seamless coordination.
Meet monthly revenue expectations and maintain high conversion ratios.
Maintain CRM records, track daily activities, and submit performance reports.
Represent the brand professionally during seminars, campus drives, and events.
2–5 years of experience in academic counseling / inside sales / edtech sales.
Strong communication skills in English & Tamil (mandatory).
Proven ability to convert leads and meet revenue targets.
High empathy, patience, and the ability to explain career paths clearly.
Strong follow-up skills and knowledge of using CRM systems.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in training institutes or edtech companies.
Passion for guiding students and job seekers.
