The Wholesale Salesman is responsible for promoting and selling products to wholesale customers, including retailers, distributors, and institutional buyers. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and ensuring timely order processing and delivery.
Sales & Customer Acquisition
Identify and approach potential wholesale buyers.
Promote products and explain features, pricing, and benefits.
Negotiate terms and close sales deals.
Order Management
Take orders via phone, WhatsApp, or in-person visits.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods.
Follow up on payments and coordinate with accounts for billing.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain regular contact with existing customers.
Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
Provide feedback to management on pricing, product demand, and customer preferences.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily sales records and customer interaction logs.
Submit weekly/monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager.
Logistics Coordination
Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for timely delivery.
Ensure customers receive L.R. copies and invoices as required.
Minimum 10+2 or Graduate in any discipline.
1–3 years of experience in wholesale or Retail Sales.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Basic knowledge of billing and inventory systems.
Ability to travel locally and manage multiple customer accounts.
