About Us:
At VegEase, we specialize in managing high-demand products in the Fruits & Vegetables (F&V). We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibility:
1. Operations Management
Supervise daily operations in harvesting, sorting, grading, packaging, and dispatch.
Ensure machinery and equipment are functioning and well-maintained.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
2. Staff Supervision
Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers.
Train new staff on safety and quality standards.
Monitor performance and provide feedback.
3. Quality Control
Ensure fruits and vegetables meet quality standards (size, ripeness, freshness).
Conduct regular inspections of produce and packaging.
Identify and address quality issues promptly.
4. Inventory & Supply Chain
Monitor stock levels of produce and supplies (e.g., boxes, pallets, labels).
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely dispatch.
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing produce.
5. Health and Safety
Enforce hygiene and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
Ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations.
Conduct safety drills and inspections.
6. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality reports.
Record incidents, maintenance needs, and staff attendance.
Communicate with management regarding issues and improvements.
7. Customer & Vendor Coordination
Liaise with buyers, vendors, or distributors as needed.
Handle feedback or complaints related to produce quality or delivery.
Skills & Qualities Needed:
Leadership and team management
Knowledge of agricultural produce and handling
Attention to detail and problem-solving
Good communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with food safety standards
