Job Title: Store Supervisor – Grocery (F&B)

Location: Gurgaon Sector-63A

Department: Stores & Inventory

Reporting To: Store Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Store Supervisor – Grocery (F&B) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the grocery section within the Food & Beverage (F&B) store. The role includes supervising staff, maintaining stock levels, ensuring product quality and hygiene, and supporting smooth store operations to meet business and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor stock levels of grocery and F&B items and ensure timely replenishment.

  • Conduct daily/weekly stock checks and maintain accurate records.

  • Prevent stock variances, damages, and pilferage.

  • Ensure proper storage as per food safety and hygiene standards.

• Team Supervision

  • Supervise store staff, assign duties, and monitor performance.

  • Provide training and guidance to staff for effective store management.

  • Ensure discipline, grooming, and adherence to company policies.

• Store Operations

  • Oversee receiving, stacking, labeling, and issuing of grocery/F&B materials.

  • Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices.

  • Coordinate with procurement and kitchen/production teams for material requirements.

  • Handle vendor coordination for supply-related issues.

• Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all grocery items meet quality and food safety standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store area.

  • Follow FSSAI and company compliance guidelines.

• Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), stock registers, and issue slips.

  • Generate daily/weekly inventory reports and submit to management.

  • Highlight slow-moving, non-moving, and near-expiry items.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of grocery/F&B inventory management.

• Leadership and staff supervision skills.

• Good communication and vendor management skills.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel / inventory software.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate / Diploma in Store Management / Supply Chain / Hotel Management preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in store operations, preferably in F&B or hospitality industry.

• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and inventory control practices.
