Job Title: Store Manager – Clothing Retail

Location: Units No. 903 & 904 ,Opal Square, Plot No. C-1, Road No. 16, Wagle Estate, Thane West, Thane, Maharashtra
Department: Retail Operations
Reports To: Area/Regional Manager

Job Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clothing retail store, ensuring sales targets are met, delivering excellent customer service, managing staff performance, and maintaining brand standards in merchandising and store presentation. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a customer-centric mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive store sales and achieve monthly and annual targets.

• Monitor and analyze KPIs such as sales per square foot, conversion rate, and average transaction value.

• Ensure excellent customer service standards and handle escalated customer issues.

• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate store staff.

• Schedule shifts and manage staff performance reviews.

• Oversee merchandising, product displays, and window arrangements in line with brand guidelines.

• Maintain adequate stock levels, manage replenishment, and minimize shrinkage.

• Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse for timely product deliveries.

• Conduct stock audits and ensure accurate inventory management.

• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.

• Oversee cash handling, daily reconciliation, and financial accuracy.

• Communicate promotions, policies, and updates effectively to the team.

• Prepare and submit sales and performance reports to higher management.

• Provide feedback on customer preferences, trends, and competitor activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

• Minimum 3–5 years of retail management experience, preferably in clothing/fashion.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.

• Knowledge of retail KPIs, sales techniques, and inventory management.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in POS systems and MS Office.
