Roles and Responsibilities:

1.      Sourcing (Direct Materials) & Item Master Data management

a.          Identification of supplier, negotiation & contract finalization

b.         Track procurement trends, vendor KPIs

c.          Maintain relationship & ensure timely supplier payments

2.      Item Master Data management

a.          Coordinate creation & maintenance of master data in Oracle ERP & Other Centralized Software for all existing & new products

3.      Material Planning & Procurement, Inventory Distribution Planning & Inventory Optimization

a.     Establish strong coordination with Sales & Marketing team and Keep a tap on new product launch, schemes & promotional offers

b.     Study past  Sales Trend and develop overall demand forecast

c.     Prepare Material Procurement Plan,  Release Purchase Orders & Coordinate Dispatches

d.     Plan Inventory levels for pan-India warehouse locations (branches), distributors & ensure timely distribution. Monitor & Maintain healthy inventory spread across central & all branch locations.

e.     Prepare Time to Time Inventory Analysis & Trends and Develop Optimum Inventory Levels

f.      Candidate should have good understanding of ABC, XYZ Analysis & Trends

g.     Closely Track Items under Obsolescence or to be obsoleted minimizing loss or dead inventory

4.      Domestic & International logistics & custom clearance

a.     Co-ordinate with International & Domestic freight forwarders, CHAs & transporter for timely deliveries

b.     Holistic Dispatch Planning through Sea / Air / Road to keep freight costs at minimum

5.      Preparing MIS / Reports (10%)

a.     Prepare MIS / reports on inventory trends & related topics

b.     Coordinate with IT team to develop online reports within ERP / Business Intelligence Software

c.     Experience of developing reports on Business Intelligence Software would be a plus (Not mandatory)

Other Skill Sets:

d.         (MUST) Experience of working on ERP such as Oracle / SAP / Dynamics etc

e.         (MUST) Strong MS office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)

f.            Good interpersonal / communication skills
