Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven and customer-focused Store Manager to lead the operations of our footwear retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, delivering outstanding customer experiences, managing day-to-day store operations, and leading a high-performing team. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of the retail footwear segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Experience
Drive store sales to meet or exceed targets through effective team management and customer engagement.
Implement upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize revenue per transaction.
Ensure an exceptional and consistent customer experience aligned with the brand standards.
Team Management
Recruit, train, and develop store staff to ensure optimal performance and motivation.
Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular appraisals and coaching sessions.
Prepare team rosters and manage shift schedules to ensure store coverage and productivity.
Store Operations
Oversee daily operations including visual merchandising, stock management, and cash handling.
Ensure the store complies with all operational policies and safety standards.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse for replenishments.
Handle POS systems, billing processes, and daily sales reconciliation.
Reporting & Analysis
Analyze sales data, footfall trends, and conversion rates to identify improvement areas.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly business reports to the regional manager.
Brand Standards & Visual Merchandising
Ensure the store layout and product displays are in line with brand guidelines.
Lead seasonal visual merchandising changes and promotional setups.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail, preferably in the footwear, fashion, or lifestyle segment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Education: Graduate in any discipline. A diploma or degree in Retail Management is a plus.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Understanding of footwear trends and consumer behavior.
Hands-on experience with retail software/POS systems.
