The Store Executive (Sales Department) will be responsible for managing inventory of finished goods, coordinating with the sales team for order fulfillment, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods to customers or distribution partners. The role demands a strong understanding of sales order processes, inventory control, and food safety compliance.
Coordinate with the sales team to process daily sales orders.
Ensure availability and allocation of finished goods based on order priorities and stock levels.
Monitor dispatch schedules and delivery timelines in coordination with logistics.
Maintain real-time records of finished goods inventory.
Implement FIFO/FEFO for perishable and short-shelf-life products.
Monitor slow-moving or fast-moving SKUs and report to sales & production teams.
Prepare packing lists, invoices, and delivery challans.
Coordinate with transporters and delivery teams for on-time dispatch.
Ensure correct tagging, packaging, and documentation as per sales orders.
Update sales and stock movements in ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, WMS).
Maintain sales order files, dispatch records, and customer acknowledgment receipts.
Reconcile stock between physical and system records regularly.
Work closely with production, QA/QC, and logistics teams to ensure sales commitments are met.
Coordinate for urgent orders, product returns, and special dispatch instructions.
Ensure storage of finished goods complies with hygiene, safety, and food-grade storage requirements.
Support internal and external audits related to stock and dispatch processes.
