Inventory Management:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials and supplies.
Issue materials to the production department as per production plans.
Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requests for replenishment.
Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels for all items.
Documentation & Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of stock movements (GRNs, issue slips, return slips, etc.).
Update inventory management software/system regularly.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile with system stock.
Coordination:
Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality departments for timely material availability.
Liaise with vendors and transporters regarding deliveries and material issues.
Store Operations:
Ensure proper storage conditions (safety, cleanliness, labeling, etc.).
Implement and enforce FIFO/LIFO practices as required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and store infrastructure in good condition.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Ensure materials are stored and handled in compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
Proficient in MS Excel and inventory management software (e.g., Tally, SAP, ERP systems).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to lead a small team of store assistants/workers.
Knowledge of material classification and handling.
