Responsibilities:
Stock Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Receiving & Dispatch:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and manage the dispatch of orders to ensure timely delivery.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records and logs, often using inventory management systems.
Audits & Reconciliation:
Conduct regular physical inventory audits and stock reconciliations to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Replenishment:
Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to place orders and manage stock replenishment.
Reporting:
Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, assess performance, and inform management decisions.
Organization & Storage:
Ensure items are organized, stored properly, and the storage facility is maintained in an orderly and accessible manner.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and other regulatory requirements related to inventory and storage.
Loss Prevention:
Implement procedures to minimize inventory discrepancies, losses, and potential theft.
Staff Training:
Train and supervise store staff on best practices for inventory management.
