The Store In charge will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store or warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, proper documentation of material received and material issues, and timely availability of materials. The role involves supporting so that work does not stop, maintaining stock accuracy, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management.
Monitor stock levels and assist in maintaining optimal inventory to support production and operations.
Ensure accurate receiving, storing, and issuing of materials as per company guidelines.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies, if any.
Maintain register of material received and material issued and take signature of receiving party.
Raise material indent timely considering lead time of material so work does not stop.
Maintaining enough inventories of all goods at store that work doesn t stop.
Material Handling
Assist in the proper storage of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
Ensure materials are organized systematically and easily accessible.
Coordinate with procurement and production teams for timely material availability.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of stock transactions, including goods received, issued, and returned.
Generate periodic inventory and stock movement reports for review by the Store in charge.
Ensure compliance with documentation standards and company policies.
Coordination and Communication
Liaise with suppliers, procurement teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth store operations.
Address and resolve minor issues related to material shortages, quality, or delays.
