The Stock Incharge is responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, overseeing the receipt and dispatch of goods, and ensuring efficient inventory management. This role involves maintaining stock levels, conducting audits, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth store operations.
Maintain accurate daily stock records and physical stock checks.
Prepare GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes) and verify incoming goods.
Follow FIFO/LIFO methods or as per company policy for stock rotation.
Identify fast-moving and slow-moving items.
Maintain minimum stock levels and raise purchase requisitions on time.
Ensure proper dispatch of goods with correct invoice matching.
Track and report any inventory losses, damage, or discrepancies.
Reconcile physical stock with system stock regularly (monthly/quarterly).
Maintain coordination with vendors and manage inward/outward entries.
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and systematic arrangement in the store.
Lead and supervise store assistants or helpers (if applicable).
