BSC in Optometry or Diploma in Optometry
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
•Prescribe corrective lenses and provide vision therapy and rehabilitation.
•Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and injuries.
•Educate patients on proper eye care, preventive measures, and the use of corrective lenses.
•Maintain accurate patient records and follow up on treatment plans.
•Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
•Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry and integrate new knowledge into practice.
•Assist in the selection of eyewear and ensure proper fitting and adjustments for customers.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optometry from an accredited institution.
•Valid optometry license in the state of practice.
•Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting (new graduates with strong clinical skills may also be considered).
•Proficient in the use of optometric instruments and equipment.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
•Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient care and customer service
