Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle direct sales at the store counter, assist customers with product selection, and ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.

• Generate sales by providing accurate information and product features.

• Process billing and handle cash/card transactions using POS systems.

• Maintain product displays, stock levels, and cleanliness at the counter.

• Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively.

• Coordinate with warehouse/inventory staff to ensure product availability.

• Keep updated with new products, pricing, and promotional offers.

• Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.

• Prepare daily sales reports and submit to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in sales is a plus.

• Proven experience in retail or counter sales (1–3 years preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.

• Customer-focused with a friendly and approachable attitude.

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

• Fluency in tamil.
