Job profile
We are seeking to recruit a strong Payroll Administrator and Associate to the team as a result of continued growth in the firm who can manage the firms payroll bureau service for UK clients.
The ideal candidate will have experience in processing weekly and monthly payroll for clients in a practice or payroll bureau environment
Previous experience of UK Payroll processing, using Sage Payroll software and up to date knowledge of RTI would be advantageous for the position
Duties and Responsibilities
· Processing the weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll for external clients
· Checking and recording changes, starter and leaver forms and maintaining manual records
· Producing payroll reports and management information as required
· Liaising with clients to resolve queries and gather information
· Managing complex payroll queries
· Calculation of NIC/Tax/Pensions and any other payments
· Responsible for calculating SSP, SMP
· Year-end duties include P35's, P11D's, P60's
· Resolving any payroll queries
Skills
· Experience of using Sage Payroll software or any other payroll software
· A proven track record of working in a payroll environment
· An ability to work to strict deadlines
· An accurate and methodical approach to work
