Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees (monthly/bi-weekly).
Collect, verify, and maintain attendance, leave records, and timesheets.
Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, incentives, deductions, and overtime.
Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, etc.
Handle payroll-related queries from employees and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for smooth payroll operations.
Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as required.
Maintain payroll records in accordance with audit and regulatory standards.
Stay updated with labor laws and ensure compliance with government regulations.
Assist in the preparation of Form 16, salary slips, and tax declarations.
Liaise with external vendors, such as payroll software providers or consultants.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in payroll processing or HR operations.
Strong understanding of payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, GreytHR, Zoho Payroll).
Knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS systems.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Experience in a mid-to-large organization.
Certification in payroll management or labor laws is a plus.
Familiarity with income tax rules and employee benefits.
