Support recruitment and onboarding of laborers, engineers, and staff at project sites.
Maintain updated site-wise manpower data, attendance, and timesheets.
Coordinate induction and safety training for site workers and staff.
Manage employee grievances and escalate issues when required.
Track leaves, handle payroll inputs, and ensure timely salary disbursement.
Monitor contractor staff and subcontractor workforce deployment.
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws (e.g., BOCW, CLRA, PF, ESI, Minimum Wages Act, etc.).
Maintain statutory registers, returns, and records as per government norms.
Coordinate with contractors to ensure labor license and registration under CLRA and BOCW Acts.
Handle labor inspections at sites and respond to notices from labor departments.
File PF, ESI, Professional Tax, LWF, and other statutory returns monthly/quarterly/yearly.
Monitor and verify contractor compliance documents (ECR, challans, wage registers, etc.).
Prepare offer letters, contracts, warning letters, relieving letters, and other HR documents.
Maintain up-to-date records of labor licenses, registrations, and compliance checklists.
Generate periodic HR and compliance reports for site and management review.
Support audits by internal/external agencies.
In-depth knowledge of construction labor laws, especially BOCW and CLRA.
Strong coordination and negotiation skills (especially with contractors and site engineers).
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
