Job Summary:
SM IT Services is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Recruiter to join our growing team. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top tech talent across various IT domains. This role demands a solid understanding of IT job roles, technologies, and recruitment strategies. You will work closely with hiring managers to ensure we attract, assess, and secure the best candidates to meet our technical staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Recruitment:
Utilize job boards, professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub), and other sourcing tools to find top IT talent.
Create and publish compelling job advertisements tailored to technical roles.
Conduct Boolean searches and targeted sourcing for niche IT skill sets (e.g., Java, Python, DevOps, Cloud, etc.).
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for both immediate and future hiring needs.
Screening and Interviewing:
Review resumes and technical profiles to identify relevant candidates.
Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates’ technical skills, experience, and career goals.
Coordinate and schedule technical interviews with hiring teams and tech leads.
Evaluate candidates based on technical assessments, cultural fit, and job alignment.
Candidate Management:
Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.
Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience.
Educate candidates about job roles, technical challenges, and the company’s work culture.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
Work closely with technical hiring managers to understand specific role requirements and team needs.
Support in creating technical job descriptions and defining ideal candidate profiles.
Share recruitment updates and candidate status reports regularly.
Onboarding and Documentation:
Coordinate with HR for seamless onboarding once candidates are hired.
Ensure accurate completion of offer letters, background checks, and other pre-joining formalities.
Support new hires during their initial days for a smooth transition.
Reporting and Metrics:
Track recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, source-of-hire, offer-to-join ratio, etc.
Generate weekly/monthly reports and provide insights to improve recruitment strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any field .
Prior experience as an IT Recruiter, Technical Recruiter, or similar role in the tech industry.
Familiarity with ATS and sourcing platforms like Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and others.
Strong understanding of IT roles, skills, technologies, and market trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple open positions and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in hiring for software development, QA, DevOps, Cloud, and other IT profiles.
Technical knowledge to understand and screen candidates based on skill assessments.
Knowledge of IT hiring metrics, hiring funnels, and sourcing automation tools.
Familiarity with employment laws and IT staffing compliance requirements.
