Job Title: HR Executive – Compliance (EPF, ESI, Labour Laws)
Experience: 1–2 years
Location: Chintadripet, Chennai
Company: ISP Group (Multinational trading company sector)
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
EPF (Employees’ Provident Fund)
•Maintain and update EPF records of all employees.
•Handle employee registration and exit procedures in EPF portal.
•File monthly ECR returns and ensure timely contribution payments.
•Liaise with EPF office for claim settlements, withdrawals, or grievances.
ESI (Employees’ State Insurance)
•Enroll new employees in the ESIC portal.
•Maintain ESI records and coordinate with the ESIC department for employee benefits (sickness, maternity, etc.).
•Submit monthly ESI returns and ensure timely remittance.
•Help employees in generating their Pehchan Cards and support during medical claims.
Labour Law Compliance
•Maintain registers and records as per the Shops & Establishment Act and relevant State Acts.
•Assist in handling statutory audits and inspections from Labour, EPF, or ESI departments.
•Ensure company is compliant with Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act, and Gratuity Act.
•Support in maintaining updated labour licenses and contractor documentation if applicable.
Payroll Assistance
•Coordinate with accounts/payroll team to ensure statutory deductions are accurate.
•Support payroll processing with EPF/ESI cut-off dates and applicable slab calculations.
HR Administration
•Maintain employee personal files with updated compliance documents.
•Assist in handling onboarding formalities, issuing offer letters, and maintaining HRIS data.
•Prepare and issue compliance-related letters (EPF/ESI transfer forms, UAN activation, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
•Good working knowledge of EPFO and ESIC portals.
•Familiarity with Tamil Nadu Shops & Establishment Act.
•Working knowledge of MS Excel for compliance tracking.
•Attention to detail, record keeping, and employee support.
