We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Academics Operations Intern to support our academic operations, ensuring a seamless and high-quality learning experience for both in-class and online students.
Role Overview:
As an Academics Operations Intern, you will oversee and monitor day-to-day academic operations, conduct quality checks, and ensure all training sessions meet the highest standards of excellence. You will contribute to creating an exceptional learning environment by focusing on operational efficiency, session quality, and student satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Session Monitoring:
Oversee and monitor live training sessions (both classroom and online) to ensure they run smoothly.
Perform pre-session checks, including mic, video, and audio setup, to prevent technical disruptions.
Track trainer attendance, punctuality, and session adherence to schedules.
Monitor and log the start time and end time of lectures to ensure quality assurance and support other operational requirements.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct quality checks of training sessions to ensure the highest delivery standards.
Identify and report any operational or technical issues during sessions to the relevant teams for resolution.
Ensure course content, teaching aids, and resources are effectively utilized during sessions.
Student Feedback & Experience:
Collect and analyze feedback from students to assess their learning experience.
Proactively address any issues raised by students to improve their overall satisfaction.
Work closely with the student support team to ensure any operational gaps affecting students are resolved promptly.
Trainer Feedback & Coordination:
Collect feedback from trainers to identify areas for operational improvement.
Ensure trainers have all the necessary resources and support to deliver effective sessions.
Operational Monitoring:
Regularly review and update operational processes to enhance efficiency.
Maintain detailed records of academic sessions, feedback, and operational tasks.
Collaborate with the academic team to ensure seamless delivery of programs.
Technical Oversight:
Monitor the performance of digital tools and platforms used for online sessions.
Ensure all learning technologies are functioning optimally before and during sessions.
Coordinate with the technical team to resolve any technical disruptions.
Continuous Improvement:
Propose and implement ideas to improve academic operations and student learning experiences.
Stay updated on the latest tools and techniques to enhance operational effectiveness in academics.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education, Operations, Business Management, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using digital tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other LMS platforms.
Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Basic understanding of academic operations and quality control processes is a plus.
