Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process for factory and staff workers
Maintain employee records and attendance (manual and/or HRMS)
Monitor employee performance and support disciplinary procedures
Ensure smooth payroll processing in coordination with accounts
Handle grievances and resolve employee issues at factory floor level
Organize training and development programs for worker upskilling
Drive employee engagement initiatives and improve retention
Ensure adherence to all labor laws (Factories Act, ESI, PF, Bonus Act, etc.)
Maintain compliance-related registers and documentation
Prepare for and assist in handling social audits, buyer compliance audits, SEDEX, BSCI, etc.
Coordinate with third-party compliance and legal consultants
Liaise with government departments for inspections, renewals, and reporting
Ensure proper implementation of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) practices in the factory
Monitor and report on wage compliance, working hours, and OT policies
