Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll & Compensation Management:
Payroll Processing Support: Collect, verify, and input employee data (hours, deductions, bonuses, leave) for bi-weekly/monthly payroll runs; act as primary backup for payroll processing.
Salary & Structure: Assist in developing competitive salary structures, conducting market research, and making recommendations for pay adjustments, ensuring pay equity.
Benefits Administration: Manage enrollment, changes, and queries for employee benefits (health, PF, insurance, etc.) and serve as liaison with providers.
Deductions & Reimbursements: Handle calculations for overtime, bonuses, expense reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
2. Employee Relations & Support:
Act as a point of contact for employee HR queries, especially regarding pay, benefits, attendance, and policies.
Address grievances, conduct investigations, and manage disciplinary matters in coordination with management.
3. Recruitment & Onboarding:
Support recruitment lifecycle (sourcing, screening, interviewing) and manage new hire paperwork and data entry into HRIS.
Conduct new hire orientation, covering HR policies, procedures, and compensation structure.
4. HR Operations & Compliance:
Maintain accurate employee records (digital & physical) and HR database information.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and internal policies.
Generate official HR documents (offer letters, salary slips, employment verification).
5. Performance & Development:
Support performance management by tracking goals, feedback, and linking performance to pay adjustments.
Assist in developing and implementing training programs.
