Job Title: Salon Receptionist
Job Summary:
The Salon Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing appointments, handling inquiries, and supporting salon operations to ensure smooth customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service.
Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and handle inquiries.
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using salon software/manual registers.
Maintain client records and update databases.
Handle cash, card, and online payments; issue receipts/invoices.
Manage the salon’s front desk area, ensuring it remains neat and professional.
Promote salon services, products, offers, and packages to clients.
Assist with retail sales and product recommendations.
Coordinate with stylists, beauticians, and management for smooth service delivery.
Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues to management when needed.
Monitor waiting area comfort and client refreshments.
Support daily administrative tasks (emails, stock updates, reports, etc.).
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 12th pass / graduate (preferred).
Prior experience as a receptionist, front desk associate, or in customer service (preferred in salon/spa industry).
Good communication skills (verbal & written).
Pleasant personality with a professional attitude.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Basic knowledge of computers, appointment software, and billing systems.
Ability to handle pressure and manage time efficiently.
