Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. This includes pipes, water heaters, drainage systems, and other plumbing-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems.
Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand layout and plan installations.
Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential hazards.
Collaborate with construction teams and other contractors on site.
Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems using appropriate tools.
Cut, assemble, and install pipes using hand and power tools.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety standards.
Provide emergency on-call plumbing services as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a plumber.
Valid plumbing license (if required by local regulations).
Strong knowledge of water distribution and waste disposal systems.
Skilled in using plumbing tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Physical strength and manual dexterity.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in backflow prevention or gas fitting.
Experience with commercial or industrial plumbing systems.
Familiarity with eco-friendly or energy-efficient plumbing technologies.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work in confined spaces, heights, and in various weather conditions.
May involve heavy lifting, bending, and long periods of standing.
Occasional travel between job sites may be required.
