We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Para-Veterinarian to support our animal health and welfare programs. The Para Vet will work under the supervision of a licensed veterinary doctor to deliver basic veterinary care, promote preventive health practices, and assist in community-based animal welfare and livestock development activities.
Assist the veterinarian in diagnosis, treatment, and minor surgical procedures.
Administer vaccinations, de-worming, and basic first aid to animals.
Support sterilization camps and mass vaccination drives.
Maintain health records and prepare simple reports.
Conduct field visits and educate farmers or pet owners on animal care and husbandry.
Support in identifying and reporting disease outbreaks.
Ensure proper handling and humane treatment of animals during care.
Distribute and manage veterinary medicines and supplies.
Assist in training sessions and awareness campaigns on animal welfare.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or Certificate in Para-Veterinary Science from a recognized institute.
1–2 years of relevant experience preferred
Basic knowledge of livestock and pet animal health care
