Anesthesia Technician

Assisting surgeon/ anesthetist to conduct surgery /operative procedure in or outside OT. Improvising

all the needed medicine /equipments to Surgeon/ Anesthetists to perform the procedures

successfully without any interruption.

 Ensures cleanliness of all the instrument and equipments related to the conduct of surgery

and proper upkeep of all equipment

 Ensures supplies and equipment as requested by surgeon.

 To help the scrub nurse during or after operation providing articles and assistance.

 Ensure provide complete information about PAC to Anaesthetists and follow up with

wards for completion.

 Preparing the list of surgeries/day with the consultation of Surgeon/ anaesthetist and informing

the respective wards well in advance as well as about any change of plan if any.

 Day before the surgery visiting the concern wards to verify completion of reports of PAC

 Acquires and maintains certification by obtaining annual continuing education requirements.

 Accurate documentation , preservation and indenting the narcotics according to DDA

 Train the new entrants.
