A Staff Nurse provides high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a healthcare setting. They are responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on nursing standards and practices.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-hospital care.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols.
Ensure patient safety, hygiene, and comfort.
Maintain infection control and other health and safety procedures.
Support patients emotionally and psychologically during their treatment.
Diploma or Degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc Nursing)
Valid nursing license/registration with the nursing council
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (preferred)
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

Proficient in using medical equipment and healthcare technology
Hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, or community health settings
