The Two-Wheeler Works Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the two-wheeler service workshop. This includes managing technicians, ensuring quality repairs, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and achieving service revenue and efficiency targets.
Workshop Operations:
Manage daily service operations including job allocation, technician supervision, and workflow optimization.
Ensure timely and high-quality servicing and repairs of two-wheelers.
Monitor turnaround time (TAT) for all jobs.
Team Management:
Lead, train, and motivate a team of technicians and service advisors.
Conduct regular performance reviews and skill assessments.
Maintain discipline and compliance with safety and operational protocols.
Customer Service:
Interact with customers when required, especially in escalated cases.
Ensure customers are informed about job status, estimated cost, and delivery time.
Strive for high levels of customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
Quality Control:
Conduct random quality checks of completed jobs.
Ensure adherence to company and manufacturer service standards.
Inventory & Parts Coordination:
Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of spares.
Minimize idle time due to parts unavailability.
Reporting & MIS:
Maintain service records and generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on service performance.
Monitor KPIs like labor efficiency, job card count, CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index), etc.
