Electrical design engineer ( autoCAD )

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN to design and develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams for industrial automation and power systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a thorough understanding of electrical standards, and experience creating accurate, compliant, and manufacturable design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and cable routing using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN.

• Interpret technical specifications and customer requirements to create detailed electrical designs.

• Prepare and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), loop diagrams, terminal diagrams, and other related documentation.

• Ensure designs comply with IEC, NEC, UL, or other relevant standards.

• Coordinate with mechanical, software, and project teams to ensure design integration.

• Revise and update existing electrical drawings and documentation as needed.

• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and testing support.

• Provide technical support to manufacturing, installation, and commissioning teams.

• Maintain project schedules and deliver accurate documentation within deadlines.

• Support the continuous improvement of electrical design processes and standards.
