The Denting Technician is responsible for repairing vehicle body parts that have been damaged due to accidents, impacts, or wear and tear. The role requires skills in removing dents, straightening panels, and ensuring the vehicle is restored to its original shape before painting.
Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of structural, body, or mechanical damage.
Perform dent removal, panel beating, and surface preparation tasks.
Use hand and power tools to reshape panels to original specifications.
Replace damaged body panels, fenders, or other vehicle components as necessary.
Fill small dents with body filler and sand to a smooth finish.
