1. Customer Service & Interaction:
Greet customers warmly and understand their vehicle service or repair needs.
Actively listen to customer complaints and translate them into clear, actionable work orders for the technical team.
Provide clear and detailed explanations of recommended services, repairs, and maintenance.
Handle customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
2. Service Estimation & Process Management:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost and time estimates for all services and repairs.
Create and manage job cards, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
Coordinate with the workshop team to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion.
Monitor the progress of vehicles in the workshop and provide timely updates to customers.
3. Sales & Advisory:
Advise customers on maintenance schedules and value-added services that benefit their vehicle's health and performance.
Effectively explain technical issues in simple, easy-to-understand language.
Achieve individual and team targets for service sales and customer satisfaction.
4. Administrative & Follow-up:
Process customer payments and explain the final invoice.
Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and services performed.
Conduct follow-up calls with customers after service delivery to ensure satisfaction.
Assist in maintaining service department reports and documentation.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. A diploma or degree in Automobile Engineering is a strong advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership or service center.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems, maintenance procedures, and common repair issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (and the local language - Marathi for Mumbai, Telugu for Hyderabad).
Customer Focus: A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Computer Proficiency: Good working knowledge of MS Office and experience with Automotive Service Management software (DSI, AutoMasters, etc.).
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, negotiation skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
