Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment using welding techniques. The ideal candidate should have technical expertise, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:.

• Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc, etc.) to join, cut, or repair metal parts.

• Inspect and test welds to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.

• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot welding machines and tools.

• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear at all times.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Technical school or certification preferred).

• Proven experience as a welder or relevant role.

• Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-core, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of safety standards and procedures.

• Physical stamina and ability to work in different environments (heat, confined spaces, outdoors).

• Certification from a recognized welding authority (AWS, ASME, etc.) is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with metal fabrication and cutting tools.

• Knowledge of welding metallurgy and material compatibility.

• Ability to use measuring and inspection tools.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

• Workshop and field-based work.

• May require overtime or weekend work depending on projects.

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
