key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site and remote technical support for welding and cutting equipment installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults in machinery and recommend effective solutions.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance as per service schedule and customer requirements.
Ensure timely resolution of service issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Train and guide junior engineers and technicians when required.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all jobs.
Provide feedback to the R&D and production teams on field issues for continuous product improvement.
Support customers in understanding equipment usage, safety standards, and best practices.
Ensure adherence to company safety protocols during all field activities.
Travel to customer sites as per assignment (local, regional, or national).
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
5+ years of hands-on experience in servicing welding machines, plasma cutters, or related industrial equipment.
In-depth knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.) and cutting technologies.
Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities.
Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Basic computer literacy for service reporting and documentation.
