Job Title: Quality Inspector

Reports To: Quality Team Lead / Quality Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting products and processes to ensure they meet defined quality standards and comply with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on products and materials.
5S & Safety Compliance:
Ensure implementation of 5S activities and usage of appropriate PPEs at the beginning and end of each shift in line with company safety and housekeeping guidelines.
Work Allocation:
Carry out inspection tasks as assigned by the Team Leader and follow daily work plans.
Documentation:
Maintain inspection files and records in a neat and organized manner. Ensure that all necessary quality documents are available and correctly filled out on a daily basis.
Non-Conformance (NC) Review:
Review previous day’s non-conformities with the Team Leader or Quality Engineer. Cooperate fully with internal and external audits (daily/monthly).
Inspection Process:
Conduct inspections as per documented work instructions and standard procedures. Maintain required inspection cycle time to meet productivity targets.
Ethical Conduct:
Adhere to company ethical standards and professional behavior, especially at customer or host locations.
Attendance & Conduct:
Avoid unauthorized leave or permissions. Ensure punctuality and reliability as per company attendance policy.
Customer Concern Management:
Support in identifying and addressing customer complaints. Ensure all corrective actions for customer concerns are followed through properly.
Training Support:
Assist in training and onboarding of new inspectors to ensure they meet inspection standards and safety compliance.
Company Image & Representation:
Promote and maintain a positive image of the organization at all times, especially at customer sites.
Continuous Improvement:
Actively share ideas to enhance the performance and quality processes of the organization.
Document Authorization:
Do not sign any customer or host location documents without prior acknowledgment and approval from your supervisor.
Quality Control Improvement:
Participate in continual improvement initiatives related to quality control activities and process enhancement.
Requirements:
Education:
• Minimum: ITI, DIPLOMA (Mechanical / Automobile / EEE / ECE )
• Maximum: B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical or Automobile or EEE or ECE )
Experience:
• 0 to 3 years in the Automobile Quality Inspection or Manufacturing Quality Control field
• Freshers with technical understanding and interest in quality inspection are welcome
