Quality Control Inspector

·         Read Drawings and instructions to understand  the quality expectations for the product.

·         Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards.

·         Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)

·         Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager

·         Develop and conduct a variety of tests on inbound materials from vendors and outbound products for shipping

·         Ensure that all of the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase

·         Educate production team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall product quality

·         Create process checklists and coordinate quality inspections with departmental managers

·         Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests and communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.

·         Documents inspection results by completing reports, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database.

·         Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product

·         Monitor the production phase at various levels

Requirements and skills

·         A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach

·         Responsible and trustworthy

·         Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems

·         Working knowledge of MS Office

·         ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering.
