Role Summary:

• Oversee the entire quality control process for all furniture production stages, from raw material inspection to finished goods.

• Supervise and guide the quality team (including Quality Engineers).

• Ensure all products meet company, industry, and customer standards and resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials and monitor each production phase (carpentry, assembly, finishing, upholstery).

• Approve or reject products based on thorough checks (dimension, strength, surface, finish).

• Lead problem-solving for defects and implement corrective actions.

• Develop and maintain quality standards, documentation, and reports.

• Train staff on inspection protocols and continuous improvement.

• Coordinate with design, production, and supply teams to uphold quality.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, certifications, and company policies.

Requirements:

• B.Tech/BE in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Furniture Engineering (mandatory).

• Proficient in AutoCAD for technical drawing review and production supervision (mandatory).

• 4+ years’ experience in quality control (preferably furniture/wood manufacturing).

• Attention to detail, leadership, and strong communication skills.

• Knowledge of quality control methods, inspection tools, and process improvement techniques.

• Familiarity with other design/optimization software (SolidWorks, AutoNest, OptSuite) is desirable.
