Experience: 1–3 years (Food/FMCG industry preferred)
Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related fields
Job Summary:
The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all food and FMCG products meet established quality and safety standards. The role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, analyzing samples, and implementing corrective actions to maintain product consistency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control quality parameters throughout the production process.
Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, GMP, and other relevant standards.
Develop, implement, and update quality control procedures and SOPs.
Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
Conduct root cause analysis of product deviations, rejections, or customer complaints.
Maintain proper documentation, inspection reports, and audit records.
Coordinate with external agencies for certifications, audits, and regulatory inspections.
Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices within production areas.
Train and guide staff on quality awareness, food safety, and compliance practices.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO, BRC).
Proficiency in quality control tools, statistical analysis, and lab testing methods.
Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict timelines.
