Job Summary:
The Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves inspecting, testing, and monitoring production processes to maintain high-quality outputs and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Document and analyze quality data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to relevant departments.
Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and improve processes.
Maintain quality control equipment and ensure calibration and maintenance schedules are followed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and policies.
Support internal and external audits related to quality.
Train and guide production staff on quality standards and inspection methods.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field (depending on the industry).
Previous experience in quality control or assurance preferred.
Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO, GMP, HACCP, or others relevant to the industry.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
