Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished furniture to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Measure dimensions, check joinery, finishing, upholstery, and hardware fittings as per product specifications.
Identify defects such as scratches, dents, uneven polishing, loose fittings, or color mismatches.
Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare quality reports for management.
Coordinate with production teams to address quality issues and ensure timely corrections.
Verify that packing and labeling meet quality and safety standards.
Conduct random sampling checks during production stages.
Suggest improvements in processes to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
Education: Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Furniture, Wood Technology, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in quality inspection within the furniture industry.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials.
Good eye for detail and color matching.
