Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
Request and compare quotations, negotiate contracts and prices with vendors.
Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to ensure adequate supplies.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and purchasing best practices.
Maintain and update vendor database and track supplier performance.
Handle import/export documentation and procedures, if applicable.
Resolve any supply issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
