Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager – Manufacturing to lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, project lifecycle management, and cross-functional leadership. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and manage manufacturing projects from initiation to closure.

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

• Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and supply chain.

• Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues; implement contingency plans as needed.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.

• Facilitate regular project meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and prepare reports on project status.

• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support product launches, equipment installations, and process improvements as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and production operations.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
