1. Production Planning & Control (PPC) – Ability to plan, execute, and monitor production schedules efficiently.
2. Team Management – Leading shop-floor workers, assigning duties, monitoring performance.
3. Process Optimization – Implementing lean manufacturing, reducing downtime, and increasing efficiency.
4. Quality Control & Assurance – Ensuring adherence to product quality standards (ISO, 5S, Kaizen, etc.).
5. Inventory & Resource Management – Monitoring raw material usage and stock control.
6. Machine & Equipment Handling – Basic understanding of machinery operations and maintenance scheduling.
7. ERP & Software Knowledge – Working knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Tally, or custom production software.
8. Reporting & Documentation – Maintaining production reports, shift logs, and material consumption records.
9. Safety & Compliance – Enforcing workplace safety regulations and maintaining a safe production environment.
10. Problem Solving & Decision Making – Ability to resolve on-ground issues quickly and make effective decisions under pressure.
11. Communication & Coordination – Strong coordination with departments like maintenance, quality, and dispatch.
12. Time Management – Meeting daily and monthly production targets within deadlines.
