1. CNC Operator – Turning
Role Summary:
Operates computer-controlled lathes to perform precision turning operations on metal or plastic components.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Set up and operate CNC turning machines (e.g., lathes).
Load raw materials and monitor the machining process.
Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as needed.
2. CNC Operator – Vertical Machining Centre (VMC)
Role Summary:
Operates Vertical Machining Centres to perform milling, drilling, and tapping operations on precision components.
Responsibilities:
Set up VMC machines including tool selection and fixture installation.
Interpret CAD/CAM files, drawings, and work instructions.
Operate and monitor machining operations to produce parts to specification.
Conduct in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust parameters.
3. Machining Assistant
Role Summary:
Supports machinists and CNC operators in routine operations, material handling, and basic machine setup.
Responsibilities:
Assist in loading/unloading materials and parts.
Clean and maintain machinery and workspace.
Deburr, clean, or prepare parts for further machining.
Organize tools and raw materials.
Perform basic measurements and inspections.
4. Automotive Welding Machine Operator (Manual and Robotics)
Role Summary:
Operates welding equipment, including robotic and manual systems, to join automotive parts and assemblies.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual or robotic MIG/TIG welding equipment.
Load/unload fixtures and monitor welding processes.
Inspect welds visually and using measuring tools or gauges.
Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on welding machines.
Read and understand welding symbols, blueprints, and work instructions.
5. Electric Vehicle Assembly Technician
Role Summary:
Assembles electric vehicle components and systems including batteries, motors, wiring, and chassis parts.
Responsibilities:
Assemble EV components according to technical documentation.
Install batteries, electric drivetrains, wiring harnesses, and control units.
Perform quality checks and functional tests.
Use hand tools, torque wrenches, and diagnostic equipment.
Interpret work instructions, schematics, and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with engineers or team leads to troubleshoot issues.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assembly area.
Comply with high-voltage safety protocols and environmental standards.
