Work Description – Milling

1. As per Drawing:

   • Operate milling machines to manufacture components strictly according to engineering drawings and specifications.

   • Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and tolerance levels as per design requirements.

2. SPM (Special Purpose Machine) Part Manufacturing:

   • Perform milling operations for SPM parts as per process sheets and work instructions.

   • Handle precision machining, slotting, drilling, and finishing operations to achieve required quality.

   • Maintain productivity and consistency in repetitive SPM part manufacturing.

3. Mold Child Part Manufacturing:

   • Manufacture mold child parts using milling operations with high precision.

   • Work on core, cavity, inserts, and other mold-related components as per CAD/CAM programs or drawings.

   • Ensure proper finishing, fitting, and alignment for mold assembly.

4. General Responsibilities:

   • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for efficient machining.

   • Perform routine inspection of machined components using measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, gauge, etc.).

   • Maintain machine cleanliness, tool condition, and workplace safety standards.

   • Coordinate with design and quality teams for corrections or improvements in machining processes.
