A Wood Manufacturing Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining woodworking machinery to produce components for furniture, cabinetry, and other wood products. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts according to specifications
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
Inspect finished products for defects, warping, or inconsistencies
Apply finishes such as stains, varnishes, or lacquers
Assemble wood components using adhesives, fasteners, and hand tools
Maintain equipment and perform minor repairs
Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear (e.g., goggles, gloves, respirators)
Keep accurate production records and report issues to supervisors
