Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment and production machinery.

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures in pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Lead a team of mechanical fitters/technicians and ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.

• Maintain proper documentation including maintenance logs, machine history, and spare parts records.

• Monitor machine performance and identify areas for improvement to reduce downtime.

• Ensure availability of spare parts and tools by managing inventory effectively.

• Coordinate with other departments (production, quality, purchase) for maintenance planning and execution.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for repetitive failures and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

• Contribute to the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and machines.

• Implement continuous improvement techniques such as TPM, 5S, and Kaizen.
